      So sad. :-(

From what I can see--still getting coffee in me, so I might be mistaken--they were the only voices from the three original Disney Pooh shorts done between '66 and '74 that were glued together to make The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in '77.

Paul Winchell [www.imdb.com/name/nm0934593/] also did voices that are likely familar to anyone who was a kid from the 60s through the 80s. He did additional voices on the Jetsons as well as Dick Dastardly in the Wacky Races and Dastardly & Muttley and Fleegle on the Banana Splits. He also did voices, some named some various, in quite a few cartoons in the 70s, including a fave of mine, Hong Kong Phooey. For anyone who watched cartoons in the 80s, before moving to exclusively doing Tigger, he was the voice of Gargamel on the Smurfs. In his pre-voice-over days, he was apparently quite a ventriloquist. I remember his dummies, but I don't really remember *him*. lol.

John Fielder [www.imdb.com/name/nm0275835/] was a character actor on TV and on film before moving to pretty much doing Piglet exclusively since the mid-80s. He was in a couple Burt Reynolds movies, several Disney movies, both live action and animated, one of only a handful of regular cast of the short-lived Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Mr. Peterson from the Bob Newhart Show (the 70s one), and also listed in 12 Angry Men, Raisin in the Sun, True Grit, and seemed to have 3rd billing in the original Odd Couple movie. He has an amazing 94 guest appearance credits on his IMDb profile... He had no fewer than three different ones on Bewitched, and the others vary from Gunsmoke to Star Trek to The Donna Reed show.... :-) Interesting.

The fellow who originally did Eyeore's voice also contributed to the writing of the screenplay of all three shorts as well as Disney's Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, Lady and the Tramp, The Aristocats, Song of the South, the animated portion of Bednobs and Broomsticks and many shorts including The Three Caballeros. He also has a writing credit for one of my faves from childhood, Gay Purr-ee. His writing credits are actually much longer than his acting ones. [www.imdb.com/name/nm0942723/]

Peter Cullen, Eyeore's voice since the 80s, was a comic bit TV actor in the 70s, who did extensive voice-over work in the 80s before getting the Eyeore gig. Anyone who watched toons in the 80s might want to check out his credits [www.imdb.com/name/nm0191520/] just because they're interesting.

Did anyone know that Roo's voice in those three original stories was done by Clint Howard??
